Each product is double-blind tested on a 100-point scaling system rated by category. Judges base scores on Aroma, Taste, Body, Finish and Smoothness. We are an independent product rating and review source.

Blind for the Judges:
Judges have no knowledge of the brand, packaging, or producer of the spirit. They only see the spirit in an unmarked glass—no bottle, no label, nothing that could sway their opinion.

Eliminates brand bias, so well-known names don’t receive unfair advantage.  

Removes packaging influence, ensuring fancy bottles or branding don’t sway scores.  

Keeps attention strictly on - aroma, taste, body, finish, and overall quality.

Please remember that payment is required for all entry on or before submission deadline

2. Upon payment, you will receive an email receipt and accounting of your entries.

Tequila & Spirits Magazine Awards is for the owners, producers, and importers of spirits brands. Permission must be obtained by the brand owner if you are not associated with the brand.     Only products that are available for commercial sale are accepted.  All submissions must be presented in their retail-ready packaging. 

There is no limit to the number of entries per producer. 

Spirits and beverages  entered in previous competitions are welcome to participate.   

Tequila & Spirits Magazine reserves the right to photograph any entry and reproduce it in catalogs, posters, publications or on our website, and in publicity printed by us.

Tequila & Spirits Magazine reserves the right to use any unopened sample bottles that are extra or do not advance to sweepstakes in promotional giveaways on its websites, special events and social media channels.  

The tasting panel members is made up of passionate aficionados, bartenders, professional retailers, restaurateurs, journalists, buyers, and sommeliers.

DOUBLE GOLD ---  96-100 points - Superior 

GOLD    -------------  90-95  points - Exceptional
SILVER  -------------  80-89 points - Highly Recommended
BRONZE -----------  70-79  points - Recommended
69/NR  points ----- Not Recommended  

You will be notified of your results automatically via email to the address associated with your registration. 

Each entry submitted will require two (2)750ml (or 700ml ) bottles per entry.  

Shipping cost is covered by the entrant.

Any samples sent from outside the U.S. must be cleared through a licensed U.S. importer.  

Tequila & Spirits is not responsible for shipments held up in customs or any import/duty fees. Please use your importer. We are not responsible for any lost shipments and or the return of any packages.

By entering our tasting awards, your spirits/beverages will receive the exposure that’s important for sales and international recognition.  Award winning spirits are more valuable.  

Tequila & Spirits Magazine has a global audience, opening up opportunities for market expansion beyond your current distribution areas.

Once the winners are announced, a digital award medal will be provided. This can be used not only in your own advertising and marketing materials but also in promotions by those who sell and distribute your products on your behalf. 

In order to protect the reputation of those brands that were not awarded medals we will not disclose the names of all those who have entered.

BONUS OFFER:

Participating brands that submit a minimum of three (3) paid entries will receive a $500 advertising credit toward media services offered by Tequila & Spirits Magazine.

Eligible participants will be notified automatically via email at the address associated with their registration on or after November 12, 2026. Restrictions apply.

SPECIAL OFFER:

Participating brands will be automatically entered into a drawing to win an advertising credit toward media services offered by Tequila & Spirits Magazine, valued at $300.00  

Winner Selection. On or after November 12, 2026.  Three (3) Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.  

Prizes and Odds. Each winner will receive a credit worth $300.00 for advertising credit  media offered by Tequila & Spirits Magazine. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified automatically via email to the address associated with your registration. Restrictions apply.

Entries may be canceled up to 14 days after payment. No refund of an Entry Fee will be given in any circumstances. The amount paid may be applied as a credit toward future entries. You may also choose to use your entry fee toward any media service offered by Tequila & Spirits Magazine.  

We are not responsible for any lost shipments and or the return of any packages; we take no responsibility for the returning of any spirits/beverages received.
